Pumpkin Cookies

I made pumkin cookies for a cookie baking contest at work. There aren't a whole lot of cookie recipe's in the cookbook to choose from and Adam insisted that I wouldn't win with regular chocolate chip or peanut butter cookies. They turned out exactly how pumpkin cookies are supposed to be. I thought they were really good, but apparently they weren't good enough to win the contest. I had to give Adam a hard time because the winning cookie was chocolate chip. As I was leaving work, I picked up my plate with 3 or 4 cookies left on it. Another girl was leaving at the same time, and she told me she thought mine looked the best.
